Telephone system for Property Management

My Business Voice is a complete business VoIP telecommunications provider. As we provide telecommunications services to consumers and small businesses we are a member of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.

Our comprehensive range of business grade services suit businesses large and small.

We don’t just sell VoIP plans, we sell a complete solution to our customers starting with a site visit from one of our highly trained staff members to discuss your needs and design a package which suits your requirements.

We get you into business VoIP:

  • Port your existing number to My Business Voice
  • Supply symmetrical internet connections
  • Offer outbound call centre packages
  • Link multiple office together as one

We only sell high end equipment and our VoIP call clarity is as good as the traditional fixed land lines. We use an audio compression codec on our network called G711a whilst most Telco’s use the lesser compressed Codec G729a which is only capable of low quality audio.

The feedback from our customer’s once they are connected to our VoIP network is that the capacity and functionality of the telephone system has increased tenfold. Now all staff members can be on the phone and they never miss a call.

Another positive – communication has never been easier, transferring calls off site, linking interstate offices and mobile workers with the office are all possible. But that’s not all, there are more positives to business VoIP with monthly costs significantly cheaper than traditional land lines and the technology providing more connections from your main telephone number eliminating the need for additional fixed land-lines.

What is a VoIP telephone system?

VoIP telephone systems use the internet in place of the poles and wires provided by telecommunications providers. Instead of connecting to sockets installed by these providers, VoIP telephones connect directly to a data network. When that handset is activated, by simply lifting the receiver, it connects to a service provider who links that handset over the internet to the regular phone system.

What does this mean for you? It means that communication has never been easier, transferring calls off site, linking interstate offices and mobile workers with the office are all possible.

What are the advantages of VoIP?

Never miss a call. VoIP technology means that you can rout calls to another office, to your mobile, to a centralized reception or to another staff member. Messages can be sent straight to your email. You don’t ever have to worry about missing a call again – twenty-four hours a day if you wish.

It is independent of the phone company’s infrastructure. The key advantage of VoIP over the traditional phone system is that it can be used independently of a phone company’s infrastructure. For example, it’s possible for a VoIP provider to give you a handset that can connect to the internet but for the same number to also work through an app on your smartphone. That means you can make and receive calls from a single phone number no matter where you are.

It is portable. VoIP is handy if you are renting and want to be able to move your phone system easily. A VoIP handset only needs an internet connection – it doesn’t care where that comes from. In contrast, the phone system requires a connection and, potentially, a physical installation in order to work.

Increased flexibility and mobility. It enables the user to integrate software programs, such as e-mail, e-fax, and remote conferencing over the Internet via the telephone. In other words, a VoIP user can speak to somebody over the phone while accessing other applications, including the Internet simultaneously. VoIP users can take their adapters anywhere, making it possible to hold telephone conversations at venues that offer an Internet connection. An increase in mobility assists individuals who are always on the move. This is particularly useful in a country like Australia, where branch offices may be thousands of kilometres apart, or where contractors are in remote locations.

Employees numbers follow them. In the same vein, VoIP phone systems let users access a convenient web portal to reconfigure the system at any time. Calls can be diverted to anywhere in the world due to cloud-hosted VoIP phone system features. If your employees are travelling, moved house or even moved country, their phone numbers can go with them. The same is true for contractors – it doesn’t matter where they are, their number will follow them.

Increased productivity. VoIP technology can increase the overall productivity of an organization by allowing their employees to multi-task without interruption. It also allows the organization to allocate funds usually spent on traditional phone bills to other aspects of the business. VoIP also allows users to attach documents, conduct virtual meetings, and share data via video conferencing.

Easy to use and maintain. VoIP installation requires little technical know-how. In fact, the easy installation process and mobility of the VoIP system offers a high advantage over traditional telephones. For instance, businesses no longer require separate cabling for traditional telephone systems. Since the transfer of voice to digital signals occurs using software instead of hardware, it makes it easier to alter and maintain the entire system. VoIP technology combines and stores data onto one single network. This increases the manageability, cost-effectiveness, and productivity for businesses that need reliable communication.

It will save you money. The most attractive feature of VoIP is its cost-saving potential. When moving away from public telephone networks, long-distance phone calls become inexpensive. Instead of being processed across conventional commercial telecommunications line configurations, voice traffic travels on the Internet or over private data network lines. For businesses, VoIP reduces cost for equipment, lines, manpower, and maintenance. All of an organization’s voice and data traffic is integrated into one physical network.  The technology provides more connections from your main telephone number eliminating the need for additional fixed land-lines.

Rich features. VoIP provides rich features like click-to-call on a web page, Find-Me-Follow-Me (FMFM), selective call forwarding, personalized ring tones (or ring back tone), simultaneous rings on multiple phones, selective area or country code, and so on.

Integration with other software — Business VoIP systems can also enhance productivity by integrating with other software applications the business uses. For example, software tools can allow businesses to keep better track of phone activity to increase the efficiency of their call centers. VoIP is able to integrate or collaborate with other applications such as email, web browser, instant messenger, social-networking applications, and so on. The integration and collaboration create synergy and provide valuable services to the users. Typical examples are voicemail delivery via email, voice call button on an email, presence information on a contact list, and so on.
